Oh no!! It seems that somehow, all of our authors ended up in a big time-space shift and forgot which year they belong in; we need to rectify this situation at once. Please match the year their works were published with the author's name to see if we can't get this straightened out as quickly as possible before further mayhem ensues.

EXTRA CREDIT (30 POINTS MAXIMUM)-PLEASE CHOOSE ONE (1) OPTION ONLY
Option A:
The art of communication is a wonderful skill and what better way to hone it than through the dying medium of pen pals? As we have seen in this lesson, literature provides us with many different 'takes' on the vampire, be it from a frightening monster to a sparkly teenager to a bat-winged humanoid Martian. Pick two of the prototypes from the novels we discussed and have them write a brief letter to each other. Perhaps, for example, Dracula might be inclined to compliment Edward Cullen on his ability to sparkle in sunlight. Edward, in turn, could show extreme envy for Dracula's ability to command wolves. Take it where you will; just remember that HOL rules do apply. Each 'letter' must be at least 150 words for a total of 300 words.
Option B:
The argument has been raised that I Am Legend is the most influential piece of literature in the modern vampire genre. Do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer, please. If you disagree, what would you name as the most influential piece of literature and why? 300 word minimum
Option C:
llustrate anything that was discussed in the lesson, be it a person, a place, event, etc. This can be done via a
computer program (such as Photoshop, Paintshop, etc) or hand-drawn. As long as it is your own work, I am not particular. Just remember, to make sure and upload them to a file sharing site (such as Photobucket, Flickr, etc). NO ATTACHMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
